I saw a really cool article on a new six-word memoir from Smith magazine called” It All Changed in an Instant.” Smith asked people to write their bio in 6 words. They say it came from Hemingway’s supposed answer after someone asked him to write a story in 6 words, to which he said:
“For Sale: baby shoes, never worn.”
I liked this a lot. I also think writing your bio in 6 words is the perfect exercise for those of us looking to bring clarity to our lives (or brushing up on your haiku skills). I’m all about bringing clarity into my life. And I also happen to be a fan of haiku. So, here’s my life in 6 words:
Did what I wanted. Still am.
There you have it. How about you? What’s your life in 6 words? Add to comments below. I’d love to read them.
